FINALLY! Our first cruise of 2024 (a short one to Gambier Island)

On the trail to Brigade Bay

After losing ALL of the Summer to David's health issues (see this post), we finally felt all was good to get out on Pelagia.

Granted, only a 3-day/2-night trip over to Gambier Island (Howe Sound) to anchor in front of Camp Artaban. It was a "test" and it all worked out well. Not crowded, good weather, and a nice walk to Brigade Bay and back (1.75 hrs return; normally very easy but not in D's poor conditioning).

Finally got to try out the new chartplotter (Furuno TZT9F) and radar (Furuno DRS2DNXT) installed over last Winter -- both work great!

We hope to get out on Pelagia this again Fall.
